Change and Freedom

Did I tell you I had the best Aquarian Age experience?? Cindy and Jacqui, on zoom, well, took over!  A virtual intervention.  It was so cool.  They just smiled away and said “Your health is not worth dealing with the details.  We will interview, delegate, send and receive files.  You have the winter off!  When we have all the files you can do what you do best, edit, organize, compile and get books out into the world.”

My shoulders dropped down from their position under my ears, my breath deepened, I slept long and deeply.  My heart went into a lovely regular rhythm.  I am so grateful for the people who are supporting the publication of William LeSassier’s work.  And me.  Typists thank you!  Cindy, and all who have their hearts and minds gathering words from our eccentric elder…

THANK YOU!

Now that I have free time this is what I’m getting into……

Reading the body’s colors, lines, facial, tongue and fingernail changes offers practitioners confirmation, or better still, initial direction for the herbs to be consumed.  Some of these indications change when better health is achieved.

To understand the importance of visual indications has been the foundation of my practice.  Face, tongue and fingernails, toes, colors and the wide variety of lines and their depth is crucial for accurate understanding of energetic health. The physical body cannot be separated from the spiritual or mental aspects of self. Those skills taught by the late William LeSassier to David Winston, and then me and Matthew Wood, have allowed me to find compliance with clients, narrow down the decisions about which herbs to employ with each client, and confirm my thoughts around which endocrine gland, organ system, or emotional state is under duress.  I learned additional indications from David, Matthew and William Morris.  The energetics appear on, in, and into words in unique ways with each person who sits before me. I do believe this skill needs to be introduced early in herbal studies.

We will all experience “Confirmations with Drop-Pulse testing”.  I let my mind relax and share Drop-Pulse testing to confirm which of the herbs to use for my client.  Test bottles containing tinctures, a name written on paper, or dried herbs from the apothecary, or fresh herbs from the garden, can all be employed.  Note pulse, pupil, color, tension, temperature, moisture and overall impact of our plant friends on the person sitting before you.

7 students, one or more teachers in training to carry on this legacy will share segments of the course. Tuition is $250.00 per student.  These students may decide to become teachers. Student attendance is two days. Trainees are two and a half days.  Class at my home – You may stay at the house.  I have 4 bedrooms available ($85) and 2 rooms to rough it on the floor ($65).  If you bring your own linens, deduct $10.  You strip the beds and remake before leaving.  Luca, the Maine Coon cat lives in and out of the house.

The Peace Abby has offered lodging as well. This retreat center has 2 bedrooms and room for more. Contact me to reach Ellen.

Teachers $500.00 each weekend of training. Teachers stay and additional morning for review.

There must be a trainee and full enrollment to ensure a successful weekend. Three weeks prior to the teaching date we will confirm the weekend. All tuition will be returned or moved to future weekend in 2025

Reading the Body Immersion in West Virginia

Learn clinical assessment skills with Margi Flint.  Reading the Body improves compliance and practice!  Herbs will be with us.

Reading the Body Immersion: Visual Indications to understand Organ Energetics

Join us for a special opportunity to learn from the renowned herbalist & author Margi Flint. This two-day intensive will focus on reading the body’s colors and features to inform us of deficiencies, patterns and organs in need of support. Reading these signs offers practitioners confirmation, or better still, initial direction for the herbs to be consumed.  You can see many of these indications change when better health is achieved.

In Margi’s words: “To understand the importance of visual indications has been the foundation of my practice.  Face, tongue and fingernails, toes, colors and the wide variety of lines and their depth is crucial for accurate understanding of energetic health.  The physical body cannot be separated from the spiritual or mental aspects of self.  Those skills taught by the late William LeSassier and then new indications from David Winston, and then Matthew Wood, have allowed me to find compliance with clients, narrow down the decisions about which herbs to employ with each client, and confirm my thoughts around which endocrine gland, organ system, or emotional state is under duress.  The energetics appear on, in, and into words in unique ways with each person who sits before me. I do believe this skill needs to be introduced early in herbal studies.

Included in our practice time we will explore Confirmations with Drop-Pulse testing.  This involves testing drops of tinctures or a bit of plant material to the client’s wrist and noting their body’s response. Clients love this testing, for they are directly involved in the process. When confirmed with a positive reaction the drop is next experienced on the tongue.  They are joining their energies with the herbs to feel a response, whilst we observe physical changes or feel pulse changes under our fingertips.  As a practitioner I note pulse, pupil, color, tension, temperature, moisture and overall impact of our plant friends on the person sitting before me.”

It does help to have some basic understanding of herbal medicine to get the full benefit of this class, but it is open to all who wish to attend. It is sure to be a deep dive, and you will leave with greater insights as to how plants can affect the human body.

This is a rare opportunity to learn with one of the most esteemed herbalists of our time. We do anticipate this class filling up! Do not wait to reserve your spot. Be sure to read our cancellation policy below before committing.
