I am Frisky
I sit here pondering the changes we humans enjoy, endure and revel in. I feel reborn. As though, once more, my life rolls into frisky and fun again. Five fabulous days without pain reminded me who I am. Athletes perform so well when pumped up with Super Woman juice! Anyway, here I am, content with this body and seeing joy all around me. So, what am I doing???
This coming weekend I drive through the fall foliage into the Berkshire Mountains. Winding roads created next to waters who established those first roads. Water is so powerful, adaptive, filling, moving around, or breaking down hardnesses along its path. And we are more than fifty percent water. I digress. I will be recording the Endocrine Markers for a full day to a class of students willing to be on film. Then we record the two-day Reading The Body Class. These both will be for purchase on my website when edited. The only remaining tasks are deciding what to wear! Kim Geisler is hosting this event in her amazing sunlit home and school, Transcending Roots, among the trees up the mountain roads. Interested? https://www.transcendingroots.com/events
Next, I fly to Shepherdstown, West Virginia to repeat this three-day wonder for Ashley Davis at Tonic Herbs https://tonicherbshop.com/product-category/workshops-classes/
Kim has completed her certification as a Legacy Teacher. What does that mean? The Legacy begins with the wisdom imparted by William LeSassier.
William was a completely eccentric, brilliant, significantly influential herbalist during the days he wandered this earth. His concept of the triune system of formulation in diagnosis is a cornerstone of Western Herbal Medicine. Add to that his tapestry of gathered healing modalities from various teachers around the world.. yes, a truly melded and well-formed foundation to base herbal practice on. When I studied with him the information entered my crown and stuck in my brain. Then his family asked if I would publish his work- the only possible response was “Yes”. My entire career succeeded in great part to his, and my other foundational teacher’s wisdom. Rosemary Gladstar and David Winston, Annie McIntyre, Matthew Wood, Tammi Sweet & Kate Gilday, Karyn Sanders and numerous others.
The quest was to have the stories, indications of the face, tongue, nails and other body parts who speak to us with changes in color, lines and their pattern and depth, temperatures and moisture changes, words and personality expressions like anger or rage, love and fear- so many clues to make the inner conditions scream “Help!” when inching out of balance. So much more. An investment in time and shekels to become certified! So far we have Stacey Quade in MN, Kim Geisler in MA, Cindy Christ in CA and 9 more to complete study and presentations! I did try to get people all over the country. Some are willing to travel outside the US so contact me if you want to hire them! You can find their contacts and affiliates here:

January, February and March
In April I head back to Hawaii and on the return teach Reading that beautiful Body at Pacific Rim College in gorgeous British Columbia Canada. While there I will celebrate another year of full moons and dark moons, tears and laughter, health challenges and healings and do a little jig. This past year people would ask my age and I’d say 67, oh- no-76. Next year is double sevens, easier to recall.

I am good again. Feeling frisky and noticing the beauty all around me, and in me, and in others. Come play with me! (Not too late!) Margi.
